Hi,

Is it possible to use this program to grab feeds from many url's and display it on my website and provide it as a search engine for my users. Allowing them to search by title, location, descriptions, price.

Hello Jack,

Thank you for your interest in Magic Parser. What you have described is application functionality at a much higher level than the method you are using to actually parse the feeds.

Whilst Magic Parser will fetch feeds from many URLs - under the control of your script of course - it would then be up to your program to do whatever is needed to go from the data in the feed to the way you want to present that information as a search engine. This might involved, for example, loading the data into a MySQL database, and then writing a search script to search the database and display the results. This would mean that your users are searching the database, not the feeds, and you would only need to retrieve and parse the feeds whenever you wanted to update the data.

Hope this helps,
Cheers,
David.
